LANCASTER, PA – July 22, 2025 — A huge congratulations to the Real Central NJ U14 Boys, who dominated the field this past weekend and were crowned Champions of the 2025 Lititz Summer Showcase in Lancaster, PA! The squad went undefeated across four matches, scoring an impressive 21 goals and conceding just one — an exclamation point on a summer season filled with growth, grit, and camaraderie.

The team, coached by Matt O’Grady, Katie Steinborn, and Solomon Jacobs, was formed as part of Real Central NJ’s growing youth program last December. Players came together from Central New Jersey and Bucks County, and the team trained tirelessly through the winter and spring, culminating in standout performances at the USL Pathway Classic in Tampa, the NYC Cup, and now, a dominant showing in Lititz.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
5–0 win vs. 1776 United FC
2–1 win vs. PA Classics SpookyNook
4–0 win vs. Lancaster FC (Semifinals)
1–0 win vs. Delaware Stars FC (Final)
PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS:
Logan Woodhead (#77) delivered under pressure, scoring both the game-winning goal on Saturday and the lone goal in the final to seal the championship.
Mateo Corso (goalkeeper) and Mike Collins (sweeper) were named co-defensive MVPs for their outstanding efforts shutting down opponents and keeping the backline rock solid.
Coach O’Grady shared this reflection on the experience:
“To say it was a journey would be an understatement. These boys learned new formations, took on new positions, and poured their energy into every training session. To finish the program undefeated at Lititz, scoring 21 goals and conceding just one, speaks volumes about their character, chemistry, and commitment. Summer programs are about growing, trying new things, and making new friends — and this group did all of that and more.”
We’re incredibly proud of this team — not just for the hardware they’re bringing home, but for the way they played and represented the Real Central NJ values on and off the field.
Way to go, boys!
