DANIEL TITTELMAYER SIGNS FOR RCNJ’S USL LEAGUE TWO TEAM

Arcadia University midfielder Daniel Tittelmayer has signed with Real Central NJ Soccer for the 2022 season, pending league and federation approval. Tittelmayer was named to the 2021 All-MAC Commonwealth Second-team after tallying four goals and seven assists for the Knights. The 21-year-old was with Ocean City Nor’Easters in USL League Two last season but did not appear due to an injury setback.

“Even though I didn’t get the full League Two experience last year,” said Tittelmayer. “I still got a chance to develop my game and learn from the Nor’Easters. I’m excited to come into RCNJ and hope to make an immediate impact.”

Tittelmayer was a three-year varsity soccer player at Delran HS before attending Arcadia and won three Group 2 South Jersey Sectional Championship Titles with the Bears. He was also named First Team BCSL Midfielder, First Team All-County Midfielder, and was an SCANJ All-State Player in his time at Delran. Tittelmayer also played for Washington United and Philadelphia Soccer Club Coppa at the grassroots level.

“Dan has a unique flair and technical ability that you don’t find very often,” said head coach Brian Woods. “We’re excited to see what he can bring to our attack this season.”

USL League Two is a pre-professional soccer league that allows elite college talent to play at a highly competitive level in the NCAA off-season. League Two is known for giving players a stepping stone to the professional game.

“Going professional is ultimately my end goal,” said Tittelmayer. “I have aspirations to make it to the highest level that I can get to.”

Tittelmayer and RCNJ will open the 2022 USL League Two season at Philadelphia Lone Star on May 14th. The men will host the Ocean City Nor’Easters on May 21st for its home opener at Mercer County Community College.
