SKARUPSKY RETURNS TO REAL CENTRAL NJ SOCCER AS ASSISTANT COACH

(Central Jersey) – In a significant addition to its coaching roster, Real Central NJ Soccer announces the appointment of Jamie Skarupsky, a distinguished alumna from Murray State, Real Central NJ, and Robbinsville High School, to its coaching staff. 


Skarupsky, an accomplished player in Central Jersey soccer, transitions into coaching following a distinguished career that saw her lead Real Central NJ's women’s team to the WPSL Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship in 2022 and Conference Finals in 2021.

“Jamie set the foundation for our club’s culture during her two playing seasons. Her hard work, commitment, and competitiveness are first class and we are excited that so many players will benefit from her leadership and experience” said Ben Chrnelich, RCNJ’s Women’s Sporting Director.


RCNJ’s Women’s head coach Brian Thomsen added, “I am thrilled that Jamie is joining our coaching staff and am excited that she is pursuing a coaching career. Her commitment to the game, care for others, and leadership style will drive her success.”.


Skarupsky's collegiate career was marked by significant accolades, including the “Arthur Ashe Jr Scholars Award for Academic & Athletic Excellence” and selection to the MVC All-Tournament team in 2022. Her outstanding performance also earned her a spot on the 2022 WPSL East Region Best XI, underscoring her impact on and off the field.


I am excited to join the RCNJ coaching staff and continue to be part of the club. I loved playing for RCNJ, it’s a great culture, great players, and I look forward to helping grow the club's winning culture and providing a player-focused development environment,” said Skarupsky.


Jamie’s professional credentials include United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1, 2, and 3 Licenses, and the US Soccer 11v11 Grassroots License. Jamie also coaches with BlackStar Soccer, traveling the country to various states and helping minority athletes earn college scholarships.
