"Who says you can't go home"?
We’re thrilled to share that Mercer County Community College (MCCC) will once again be Real Central NJ's home this summer for our USL League Two (USL2), Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), and The League for Clubs matches.
For us, this isn’t just a venue announcement — it’s a homecoming.
MCCC is where Real Central first took the field in our inaugural season, and it’s where we hosted the 2022 WPSL East Region Championship. Returning to campus strengthens a partnership that has grown alongside our club and keeps us rooted in the Central Jersey soccer community that helped build Real Central from day one.
Over the past few years, Mercer County Community College has continued to invest in its athletic facilities, and fans will notice the upgrades right away. With new turf, expanded viewing areas, and dedicated space for food trucks and pre-game activities, matchdays will feel bigger, better, and more vibrant than ever.
As Real Central’s Ben Chrnelich put it:
“Mercer County Community College is a historic soccer venue, whose leadership is deeply committed to ensuring a professional level environment. I am confident our area soccer supporters will value the game-day experience and enjoy these new amenities.”
MCCC is just as excited to welcome us back.
Tony Genovesi from the college’s Athletics Department shared:
“We are looking forward to hosting Real Central’s top-level amateur games this summer and welcoming thousands of soccer enthusiasts to our campus.”
This summer, Real Central will host 16 home matches across our men’s and women’s teams. These games give talented local and regional players a chance to compete at a high level, play in front of passionate hometown supporters, and stay sharp ahead of their collegiate seasons.
And there’s even more excitement in the air this year.
As Ira Jersey of Real Central said:
“We are hard at work preparing for our sixth season of USL2 and WPSL summer soccer. With the added excitement of the World Cup, this summer is going to be a special one for the Central Jersey soccer community.”
We’ll be releasing our USL2 schedule next week and our WPSL schedule on March 17, so stay tuned. Season tickets are already on sale — and the earlier you lock them in, the better the deal.
We can’t wait to see familiar faces back on the sidelines at MCCC, along with plenty of new fans discovering Real Central soccer for the first time. Let's Go!
